iPhone over Android, retake the No. 1 in the U.S.

IPhone in U.S. market share doubled from the previous year and surpassed Android phone market, according to research firm Kantar Worldpanel Comtech.

iPhone has returned to No. 1 in the U.S.

Reuters leads the statistical results of Kantar, said Android market share iPhone through a close race in the U.S. in Q4 2011. Accordingly, the iPhone's market share is 44.9%, while the Android phone is 44.8%.

IPhone market share doubled over the same period last year thanks to higher sales from the 3 4S iPhone Verizon, Sprint and AT & T. These results are impressive because 4S before the iPhone, the iPhone's market share stagnant for months, while Android's market share increased strongly .
