Toshiba has just released its tablet to compete with iPad called Folio 100. Folio 100 is equipped with dual-core processors and graphics capabilities of high resolution, these features exceed iPad.
Folio 100 tablet processor uses Nvidia's Tegra 2, dua-core processor running at 1GHz Arm and GeForce graphics core capable of playing high resolution video (Full 1080p). iPad uses the chip with a single-processor and runs at 1GHz and can display 720p video.
Folio 100 is sold in Europe with two versions of Wifi and 3G. Prices range from € 399 to € 529 (560usd to 742usd), depending on country and model. Folio 100 is not the day will come to America. First published on this tablet back in September, said Toshiba Folio will be sold first in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Folio 100 has a multi-screen 10.1-inch wide, slightly wider than 9.7 inch screen of the iPad. Weight 760g, Folio 100 is heavier than iPad (iPad weighs 680g). Folio can run 7 hours after a single charge if the 65% of their time surfing the web, 10% of the time watching movies and 25% in standby mode. iPad can run 10 hours.
Folio runs Google's Android 2.2 and Flash support. Users can download applications, ebooks and games through Toshiba Market Place.
Other features such as one attached to the USB port, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and an HDMI port allows users to play ch high-resolution video from a device on TV.
